Hesperia, released by the Austrian house WienerBlut in 2015 and composed by Valérie Garnuch-Mentzel, is mainly floral, with spicy, green, woody, resinous and citrus sides in equal support.

The name recalls the Hesperides, the mythical garden of golden fruit, and citrus plays a key role. Citron brings a bright, rounded citrus freshness, and mandarin leaf a green, slightly bitter and leafy note. Boxwood adds a sharp, green and slightly woody character, like a clipped garden hedge. In the heart, orange blossom gives a clean, honeyed floral note and jasmine a warm sweetness, while clove adds a warm, slightly medicinal spice. Frankincense rounds off the base with a soft, dry smoke.

The profile suggests spring and summer, daytime and the office, as well as refined occasions. It is meant to be worn by anyone who likes green, citrusy florals with a touch of spice and incense, and who prefers an elegant, garden-like scent to sweetness. The boxwood and mandarin leaf give it a crisp, natural edge.
