Cologne du Maghreb by Tauer Perfumes is a cologne worn by anyone, created by Andy Tauer and released in 2011. Woods and florals lead equally, with aromatic herbs and citrus close behind, plus a green and amber touch.
Lemon, bergamot and neroli give a bright, clean citrus-floral opening, and rosemary, lavender and clary sage add a crisp, herbal freshness in the classic cologne style. Orange blossom and rose soften the heart with a light, honeyed floral warmth. The base is deeper than a traditional cologne: Atlas cedar and vetiver give a dry, earthy woodiness, and labdanum with amber add a warm, resinous glow.
This is a refreshing yet substantial cologne, well suited to spring and summer, daytime and the office. The resinous base gives it more depth than most citrus splashes. It will appeal to anyone who loves herbal colognes but wants a warmer, woodier finish.
