It opens with saffron alone, a warm, slightly leathery spice that sets the tone. The heart brings agarwood and rose together, the oud giving a deep, resinous, slightly medicinal woodiness and the rose a jammy sweetness that softens it. The base keeps the oud running but surrounds it with vanilla and praline, so the drydown turns thick, nutty and caramel-sweet, with the wood still visible underneath.
