Casablanca from Swiss Arabian, released in 2016 and worn by anyone, is a sweet, ambery woody scent with a soft leather finish. Sweet is the word everyone uses; most also find it woody and ambery, and a minority mention musk, florals and leather.

Apple and grapes open it with a juicy, slightly wine-like fruitiness. The heart is drier and more serious: white woods and patchouli give a clean wood and an earthy depth, while iris adds a cool, powdery elegance. The base is where the sweetness thickens, caramel and Peru balsam bringing a warm, resinous, toffee-like richness, amber a lasting glow, and suede a soft, supple leather that keeps the whole from being purely dessert.

Wearers split between long lasting and moderate on longevity, and the sillage is moderate for most and strong for a good share. Autumn and winter lead the seasonal votes, and it is worn slightly more by day than by night. It suits cold weather and anyone who likes gourmand warmth with a woody, leathery anchor.
