Sicilian bergamot and rhubarb give the opening a tart, sappy brightness, and violet leaf adds a cool, crushed-stem greenness. Fig and fig nectar sit in the middle, milky and lightly sweet, which likely explains the gourmand votes. The spice is unusual: black pepper, cardamom and a touch of cumin, warm and slightly skin-like. Atlas cedar, papyrus and Australian sandalwood form a dry, papery wood base, with patchouli adding earth.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The green fig and bergamot lean towards spring and summer daytime, while the woods and spice keep it wearable into autumn.
