Torroella de Montgrí

Torroella de Montgrí is a woody, aromatic composition from Santi Burgas, created in 2018 by Rodrigo Flores-Roux with Santi Burgas, with a fresh lift and a resinous, ambery undertone.

It smells of herbs and conifers. Thyme, rosemary, sage and lavender give a dry, sun-warmed garden quality, savoury and slightly camphorous, while eucalyptus adds a cool, medicinal freshness. Chamomile softens the herbs with a mellow, hay-like sweetness. Cypress and balsam fir bring a resinous green forest note, and cedar supplies a dry wooden base. Labdanum underlines everything with a warm, leathery amber depth that keeps it from feeling purely sharp.

The Spanish house's scent is worn by anyone. Its herbal, outdoorsy character suits walks, weekends and daytime wear, in warm weather as well as on crisp autumn days, and it should appeal to people who like Mediterranean herbs and pine rather than sweet or floral fragrances.
