Vendemmia, released by Salvatore Ferragamo in 2018 and composed by Fabrice Pellegrin, is at once sweet and citrusy: everyone who describes it reaches for both words, with about half also finding it green, woody, floral and ambery. It is worn by anyone.
Bergamot and mandarin orange give a juicy, sunlit opening, quickly joined by peach and fig, which bring a soft, milky fruitiness with a green, leafy side. Jasmine adds a floral glow in the middle. The base rests on sandalwood for creamy warmth, tonka bean for a vanilla-like sweetness, and ambroxan, which lends a clean, mineral, long-lasting amber effect.
The balance of ripe fruit and smooth wood points to warm weather and daytime, from a garden lunch to a late afternoon by the sea, without being so sweet that it feels like dessert. It should suit anyone who likes fig and peach fragrances with a polished Italian finish.
