Et Revenir à Soi from Sabe Masson, released in 2015 and composed by Jennifer Jambon, is a spicy floral with a green, woody frame. People describe it as spicy and floral in equal measure, green, woody and citrus for most, with a musky side for a third.

There is no formal pyramid. Bergamot, mandarin and petitgrain give a bright, slightly bitter citrus; ginger, cardamom and pink pepper add warmth and a gentle heat; mate brings a green, tea-like dryness. Jasmine, ylang-ylang and orris root form the floral heart, creamy and powdery, while carrot seeds add an earthy, rooty edge. Underneath, vetiver and patchouli give dry earth, benzoin and vanilla a soft resinous sweetness, and ambrette a clean, slightly nutty musk.

It is worn by anyone, and the balance of spice, green tea and powdery flowers suggests a scent for someone who likes complexity without heaviness.
