The opening is a wide spread of citrus: grapefruit, lemon, blood orange, mandarin, yellow mandarin and bergamot give a sparkling, juicy freshness, with ginger adding zest and black currant with its leaf and bud a tart, green fruitiness. The heart is floral, with Bulgarian rose giving a velvety depth, jasmine sambac a sunny radiance, orange blossom a honeyed sweetness and geranium a rosy brightness. The base is woody and gently dark, with agarwood, cedar, patchouli, incense and musk.
