Bergamot and pepper open it with zest and a sharp tingle. The sea comes next: sea water and sea notes give a cool, briny air, algae adds a slightly green, iodine-like realism, and lotus and white flowers lay a clean, aquatic floral over the top. The base is where the body is. Driftwood and cedar bring a dry, sun-bleached woodiness, and ambergris adds a warm, salty, faintly animal softness that makes the whole thing feel like skin after a day on the beach.
It is worn by anyone. The character suits warm weather and daytime wear, holidays, and a wearer who likes aquatic scents but wants something with a warmer tail than a simple fresh spray.
