Oud Al Abid is spicy, sweet, woody and ambery all at full strength, with flowers for about half of wearers. Louis Cardin released it in 2017 as a masculine fragrance.
Saffron and cinnamon open it hot and dry, with rose giving a warm, slightly jammy floral beneath the spice. The heart turns openly sweet: caramel brings a burnt-sugar gourmand note, and patchouli adds an earthy, slightly dark counterweight. The base is heavy and warm, with oud giving a dry, smoky wood, vanilla and amber rounding it into a soft, lasting sweetness, and ambroxan adding a radiant, mineral lift that helps it carry.
Nobody has reported on longevity or sillage yet. Saffron, caramel and oud together make a winter and evening scent, best in cold air, and it suits a man who likes sweet, spiced ouds rather than fresh or green compositions. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
