Oxygene Homme, released by Lanvin in 2001 and composed by Alberto Morillas, is a fresh woody aromatic fragrance marketed for men. Woods lead, with spicy, musky and amber notes at half that strength.
The opening is resinous and green: fir resin gives a balsamic, pine-like note, cypress a fresh, woody greenness, artemisia a bitter herbal edge and coriander a light spice. The heart is myrtle and juniper, a herbal, slightly piney and gin-like freshness. The base is white musk and cedar, a clean, dry and soft finish.
Most wearers report moderate longevity and a moderate sillage. It is voted for summer and spring and is mostly worn by day. It suits hot weather, the office and outdoor days, and anyone who likes a fresh, foresty and herbal scent with a clean musky base.
