Juicy Couture's original fragrance, released in 2006 and composed by Harry Fremont, is a sweet fruity floral. Sweetness and florals are equally strong, with woods next and lighter green, fresh and citrus accents.
The opening is busy and playful: watermelon, passionfruit and green apple give a juicy, candy-like fruitiness, mandarin orange a sunny citrus note, and hyacinth, green leaves and marigold a fresh, green floral edge. The heart is a rich white bouquet of tuberose and lily, with rose hip adding a tart, fruity twist. The base turns dessert-like, with crème brûlée and caramel bringing a toasted, sugary sweetness, vanilla a creamy softness and patchouli and precious woods some depth.
Wearers find longevity moderate to long and the sillage moderate. It is voted mainly for spring and is mostly a daytime scent. Marketed for women, it suits casual days, shopping trips and weekends, and anyone who likes fun, fruity florals with a sweet caramel finish.
