The opening is bright and spicy: pepper gives a dry prickle, star anise a liquorice-like spice, bergamot and lemon a citrus zest and elemi a fresh, lemony resin. The heart is smoky and floral, with smoke adding a dry, campfire-like note, hibiscus and jasmine a soft floral touch and tea a dry, slightly tannic greenness. The base is cacao pod, patchouli and sandalwood, a powdery, earthy and creamy finish.
