Xeryus Rouge is a woody men's fragrance from Givenchy, released in 1995 and composed by Annick Menardo. Everyone describes it as woody, with spicy, musky, floral, leather and citrus facets each noticed by a third.

The opening is Chinese orange with tarragon and cactus, a sharp, green, slightly aniseed citrus. The heart is African geranium with pimento and cedar, so the middle is a rosy-green floral given heat by the pepper and dryness by the wood. The base is cedar again with sandalwood and white musk, a smooth, dry woody finish.

About half of wearers report long lasting performance and a strong trail. It is voted for autumn and winter and splits evenly between night and day, which suggests a warm, spicy woody for cooler months that carries well without being sweet.
