Escada Magnetism, created in 2003 by Pierre Bourdon and Steve DeMercado, is a sweet, fruity floral with a warm caramel base. Flowers dominate, a strong gourmand side follows closely, and about half also notice woodiness, with a minority picking up musk and a green, fresh edge.

The opening is lush and fruit-heavy: pineapple, black currant, melon and litchi give a juicy, slightly tropical sweetness, warmed by a hint of cassia spice. The heart is a full bouquet led by rose and jasmine, lifted by a fresh green touch and made softer by powdery heliotrope. In the base, vanilla, caramel and amber create a sticky, golden sweetness, while patchouli and sandalwood add woody depth.

About half of wearers report moderate longevity and many find it long lasting, with a trail ranging from moderate to strong. Its seasons are spread across the year with a slight lean to spring and summer, and it is worn by day slightly more than at night. It suits anyone who likes a sweet, fruit-forward floral for casual daytime outings and evenings alike.
