Pepper and black pepper open it with a dry, sharp heat, backed by a general spice accord. The heart is rose and ylang-ylang, warm and slightly creamy, with a solar accord adding a glowing, sun-warmed brightness. Honey gives a dense, golden sweetness, and incense drifts in with a cool, smoky thread. The base is patchouli over a woody accord, earthy and dry, which gives the scent its length and keeps the honey from becoming cloying.
