Cap d'Antibes by EIGHT & BOB, released in 2025 and worn by anyone, is a cool, green fragrance with a smoky undercurrent. Everyone who describes it says green, and about a third add spicy, woody, aromatic, ambery or leathery, which points to a complex base beneath a simple first impression.
Mint and violet leaf open it with a cold, crushed-leaf freshness, supported by green notes for a sappy, stem-like quality. Cinnamon brings a surprising warm spice to the middle that softens the chill. The base is where the darker facets appear: birch gives a smoky, tar-like, leathery note, incense a dry resinous smoke, oakmoss and moss a bitter forest-floor depth, and cedar a clean, dry wood. Vanilla rounds it with a faint sweetness.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The green, minty opening suits spring and summer days, while the birch and incense give it enough character for cool evenings.
