Oyedo Eau de Toilette is Diptyque's citrus from 2000, composed by Akiko Kamei as an eau de toilette and worn by anyone. Citrus is the whole point for everyone who describes it; a quarter also notice a woody base.

The opening is a cluster of citrus fruits, yuzu, mandarin, lime and lemon, with the yuzu giving a distinctive, slightly floral, grapefruit-like sharpness that sets it apart from a standard cologne. The heart is a single herb, thyme, which adds a dry, savoury, slightly medicinal edge and keeps the fruit from reading as sweet. The base is light woods, just enough to give the citrus something to rest on as it fades.

Most people report moderate longevity, and nearly a third find it weak, which is typical of a citrus eau de toilette. Sillage is moderate to intimate. It is voted almost entirely for daytime and chiefly for summer, with spring second, making it a crisp, refreshing scent for hot weather.
