Diorissimo is a floral fragrance from the French house Dior, composed by Edmond Roudnitska and released in 1956. Flowers dominate, with lighter green, woody, herbal and citrus touches.

Bergamot and green leaves open with a crisp, dewy freshness. The heart is centred on lily of the valley, fresh, green and bell-like, supported by lilac, jasmine, ylang-ylang and lily, which add a soft, spring-garden fullness. In the base, sandalwood gives a smooth wood, and civet a faint animalic warmth that makes the flowers feel alive.

About half of wearers find its longevity moderate, and sillage is moderate or strong. It is voted for spring and summer and largely for daytime. It suits spring days, weddings and daytime occasions, and someone who loves lily of the valley in a classic, natural-feeling style rather than a sweet modern floral.

Diorissimo — unisex fragrance by Dior (released 1956). Top notes: Green Leaves, Bergamot. Heart notes: Lily-of-the-Valley, Lilac, Jasmine, Lily, Ylang-Ylang, Amaryllis, Rosemary, Boronia. Base notes: Civet, Sandalwood. — Parfica open fragrance database
