It opens with plum and apple, ripe and sweet, more orchard than sugar. The heart brings the citrus: bergamot and lemon give a sunny sharpness, pear keeps the fruit juicy and a touch of rose softens the whole. The base is dry and clean, with Virginia cedar and sandalwood adding a smooth woodiness and white grapefruit a lingering bitter-fresh edge that stops it becoming syrupy.
