Pink pepper, bergamot and nutmeg open it, a bright citrus with a dry, warm spice. The heart pairs two jasmines, Chinese jasmine and jasmine sambac, for a rich, slightly green white floral, with mate adding a bitter, tea-like greenness and guaiac wood a soft smoke. The base of balsam fir, woodsy notes, amber and musk is resinous and warm, with fir bringing a crisp, forest-like note into the drydown.
Most wearers call it long lasting, around seven in ten. Sillage is moderate for most and strong for a third. It is voted for autumn and then spring and almost equally for day and night, which suits a spicy, woody floral that works across seasons and occasions.
