The opening is raspberry and lavender, a tart fruit set against a herbal, slightly soapy flower, which gives the first minutes a lift before the sweetness takes over. The heart is vanilla three ways: vanilla, vanilla absolute and vanilla caviar, together a thick, dark, boozy sweetness rather than a light custard. The base is suede, soft and faintly smoky, which gives the vanilla a plush, skin-like finish.
