Bergamot gives a bright, brief opening, and black pepper, pepper and pink pepper add a dry, sparkling, prickly spice. Lily of the valley brings an unexpected fresh, green floral note to the heart. Incense forms the core of the composition: dry, smoky and slightly mineral, like cool stone in a quiet church, in keeping with the name. Mystikal, a modern resinous-ambery material, deepens it. The base is clean and woody, with cedar, vetiver and white musk giving a dry, grassy, smooth finish.
