Bergamot and pink pepper open it with a bright, gently spicy citrus lift, and lavender adds an aromatic, herbal freshness. Cinnamon brings warmth and a soft, sweet spice. In the heart and base, frankincense gives a dry, smoky incense, while gurjun balsam, a tree resin, adds a soft, woody, balsamic depth. Vetiver, including Haitian vetiver, contributes an earthy, slightly smoky grassiness, and patchouli a rich, earthy warmth. Coconut tree adds a faint, creamy sweetness.
