My Magic, created by Mohammad Tammam Mando for the Turkish house Attar Al Has in 2021, is a sweet floral wood with a watery brightness. Everyone who describes it finds it gourmand, woody and floral in equal measure, about two-thirds call it fresh, and a third notice resin or amber. It is worn by anyone.
Lemon and water notes give a clean, almost aquatic opening, which is unusual for something this sweet. Damask rose and osmanthus form the floral heart, the osmanthus adding an apricot-like, slightly leathery fruitiness. Sugar and Madagascar vanilla supply the gourmand side, soft and plainly sweet. Sandalwood, patchouli and cypriol give the base its wood, the cypriol smoky and earthy, while benzoin, amber and musk provide a warm, resinous glow.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The fresh opening makes it workable in warm weather, and the vanilla base carries it into cooler evenings.
