Amberlievable

Amberlievable, from Astrophil & Stella and composed by Luca Maffei, was released in 2020. Despite its name, it is primarily woody, with floral and amber accords sharing second place and lighter sweet, resinous and citrus touches.

Bergamot opens with a light, bright citrus, quickly softened by orange blossom and ylang-ylang, which bring a creamy, sunny floral warmth. Elemi adds a fresh, peppery resin with a lemony edge. The heart of the fragrance lies in its woods and resins: cedar gives a dry, clean structure, guaiac wood a smoky, slightly sweet note, and sandalwood a creamy smoothness. Opoponax, amber and vanilla build a warm, balsamic glow, with patchouli adding earthy depth.
