It opens with a bright trio of lemon, mandarin orange and grapefruit, the grapefruit giving a slightly bitter zest that keeps the citrus from being merely sweet. The heart turns aromatic and green: geranium and lavender bring a rosy, herbal freshness, while vetiver and patchouli start adding earth and dryness underneath. The base is cedar, amber and a blend of smooth woods, so it finishes dry and warm rather than sharp.
