Lalao is a pure gourmand by the Italian brand Zeromolecole, created by Stefania Marzufero Boni in 2012. Sweetness is the only accord people report, and the composition is as simple as it gets, with three notes.
Milk gives a soft, creamy, slightly lactonic warmth, the smell of warm milk or rice pudding rather than anything sharp. Vanilla adds a rounded, comforting sweetness that deepens as the scent settles. Sugar brings a light, almost crystalline sweetness, like icing on a cake. Because there are so few elements, the scent stays fairly linear from start to finish, closer to a comforting skin scent than a complex perfume.
Lalao is shared and suits anyone. It is best for cosy days at home, relaxed weekends and cooler months, and it works well as a layering base. It should appeal to people who want an uncomplicated milky vanilla that feels like a warm drink.
