The opening is eucalyptus and bergamot with saffron, so it is cool, camphorous and bright, with the saffron adding a warm, slightly leathery spice beneath. The heart is clary sage, herbal and faintly musky, with mate, a green tea-like note that is bitter and leafy, over guaiac wood for a soft, smoky base to the greenery. The drydown is dry wood and musk, clean and lean rather than sweet.
