Saffron, bergamot and grapefruit open it, the citrus bright and bitter, the saffron adding a dry, warm, faintly leathery spice that gives the top an unexpected depth. The heart is tuberose, ylang-ylang and jasmine, a creamy, heady white floral trio, with the tuberose dominant and the ylang-ylang adding a slightly banana-like softness. The base is amber, vanilla and benzoin for a sweet, resinous warmth, sandalwood for a creamy wood and agarwood for a smoky, resinous depth that pulls the flowers towards the evening.
It reads as a rich, warm floral for evenings and cooler weather, suited to someone who likes tuberose and wants it with saffron and oud rather than fresh and green.
