Lemon and blood orange open it brightly, and pear adds a crisp, juicy sweetness that leads into the flower. Turkish rose is at the centre, rich and slightly jammy, lightened by rose water, which gives a cleaner, dewier version of the same note. The base is where the sweetness settles: Madagascar vanilla, creamy and full, musk for a soft skin-like finish, and amberwood for a smooth, faintly ambery wood that carries the rose on.
It is worn by anyone. The vanilla-rose pairing suits cooler months and evening wear, though the citrus and pear keep it bright enough for daytime, and it will appeal to a person who likes rose but prefers it sweet and rounded rather than green or spicy.
