Bergamot gives a bright start, joined by pimento, which adds a warm, lightly peppery spice, and oolong tea, which brings a leafy, faintly smoky green note. The heart is built on jasmine and iris, the jasmine smooth and sweet, the iris cool and powdery, with liquorice adding a dark, aniseed-like sweetness underneath. Rice gives a soft, milky, slightly starchy texture to the base, alongside sandalwood for creaminess and musk for a clean, lasting finish.
It suits spring and autumn and daytime wear, and anyone who likes quiet, slightly unusual florals with tea and powder should find it rewarding.
