About Sisley L'Eau Rêvée D'Hubert
Perfumer: Alexis Dadier
L'Eau Rêvée D'Hubert is a dry, green wood from Sisley, created by Alexis Dadier and released in 2023 for anyone to wear. Woody is the only accord everyone agrees on; a minority also describe it as green, floral, aromatic or ambery, and in practice it balances all of those around a cedar core.

The opening is cool and leafy. Mint and shiso, a Japanese herb with a slightly cumin-like edge, bring a crisp aromatic freshness, and buchu adds a sharp blackcurrant-leaf greenness. Geranium then lends a rosy, almost metallic floral note. The body of the scent is cedar and papyrus, pencil-shaving dry with a hint of smoke, roughened by a touch of patchouli and oakmoss. Ambroxan sits beneath it all and gives the dry-down its mineral warmth and lift on the skin.
It wears as a quiet, well-mannered scent for daytime, equally at ease in spring and autumn, and it suits people who prefer dry woods and herbs to sweetness. Those who enjoy modern green cedar fragrances will recognise the territory.
