About Salle Privée Concorde

Concorde, released in 2019 by the Dutch house Salle Privée, is a dark, spicy woody scent for men. Nearly everyone calls it woody, a little under half find it spicy, and smaller groups note resins, aromatics, amber or leather.
The opening is unusual: whiskey gives a boozy warmth, juniper adds a dry, gin-like snap, and black and pink pepper bring heat. The heart turns to tobacco and saffron, smoky and slightly bitter, over patchouli, vetiver, guaiac wood and cashmere wood, which lend smoke, earth and a soft, almost velvety texture. The base is deep: leather and agarwood for darkness, benzoin and amber for resinous warmth, sandalwood and cedar for a dry woody finish.
Community reports on longevity, sillage and season have not yet been gathered. By its structure, Concorde is an evening and cold-weather scent, for a man who likes smoke, spice and leather, and it is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
