Raspberry opens it with a fresh, slightly tart fruitiness that keeps the iris from feeling austere. Iris itself is the heart, cool, powdery and faintly earthy, like the smell of violet sweets and face powder together. Mimosa adds a honeyed, pollen-like softness, ylang-ylang a creamy, banana-tinged warmth and jasmine a little floral brightness, so the iris reads gentle rather than chilly. The base is Virginia cedar, dry and clean, which gives the powder something to rest on without adding sweetness.
It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The powdery, restrained character suggests daytime and transitional seasons, and it suits people who like iris scents but want one with a touch of fruit and warmth rather than a cold, rooty one.
