Terra by the British house Quintesscent, released in 2018, is a soft woody scent with citrus, floral and resinous sides. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, and about half also find it gourmand, floral, resinous or citrusy.
Mandarin gives a sweet, sunny citrus opening, and neroli adds a clean, honeyed white-floral brightness that lifts the first stage. Sandalwood and vetiver form the woody core, the sandalwood creamy and smooth, the vetiver dry, rooty and slightly smoky. Benzoin brings a sweet, balsamic resin to the base, and vanilla rounds it off with a soft, warm sweetness that keeps the woods from feeling stark.
