Onda d'Oro from Plume Impression, composed by Alexis Dadier and released in 2024, is a dense leather amber built around iris. Everyone who describes it reaches for the same cluster of words: woody, musky, floral, resinous, ambery and leathery, all at once, which says a lot about how layered it is.
Iris is the floral element, cool, powdery and slightly rooty, and it is wrapped immediately in leather, which adds a smooth, warm, faintly smoky depth. Labdanum brings a rich, resinous, almost honeyed amber quality, and patchouli an earthy, dark base. Vanilla softens the whole structure with a creamy sweetness that never turns into dessert, and musk and amber extend it into a warm, long-lasting skin scent.
