Cinnamon and honey open it, a warm, sweet spice with a thick golden sweetness, and osmanthus adds a soft apricot-leather floral. The heart is a bed of resins: labdanum and benzoin for a sweet, balsamic amber, ambergris for a salty warmth, and artemisia for a bitter, herbal edge that keeps it from being purely sugary. The base of vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli and musk is creamy and long, with patchouli adding an earthy depth.
Most wearers find it long lasting. Sillage is strong for half and moderate for most of the rest. It is voted for winter and autumn and clearly for night, which suits a warm, sweet amber for cold evenings and festive occasions rather than daytime summer wear.
