Angel Eau de Toilette, released by Mugler in 2011 and composed by Amandine Clerc-Marie, is presented as feminine and is equally gourmand and woody, with spicy, musky and citrus sides in support.

As an eau de toilette, it is a lighter interpretation of Angel's sweet-and-earthy structure. Pink pepper and bergamot open it with a light, rosy spice and a fresh citrus lift. In the heart, praline brings a sweet, caramelised nuttiness, and red berries a juicy, tart fruitiness. The base is where the woody side comes through: patchouli gives an earthy, dark depth that contrasts with the sweetness, Virginia cedar a dry woodiness, vanilla a creamy softness and musk a clean finish.

Most wearers report long-lasting wear, with a sizeable share finding it almost endless, and its sillage is mostly moderate to strong. It is voted across autumn and spring, and slightly more for day than night. It suits daytime, social occasions and evenings, for someone who likes the sweet patchouli style in a fresher, more wearable form.
