Mirea by Molinard (2022) is a fruity gourmand. Sweetness leads, flowers are noticed by a fair share of people, and smaller groups find citrus, greenery, freshness and herbs.

The opening is a bowl of berries: strawberry, blackberry, blueberry and black currant give a juicy, jammy sweetness, with litchi and melon adding a fresh, watery fruit. Amalfi lemon and lemon bring brightness, and basil and currant leaf a green, herbal edge. The heart is floral and soft, with jasmine, magnolia and iris adding a creamy, lemony and powdery bloom. The base is warm and sweet, with toffee for a buttery caramel, vanilla for creaminess, sandalwood for a smooth wood and musk for a clean finish.

Mirea is shared and can be worn by anyone. It suits spring and summer, daytime and parties, and should appeal to people who love bright berry gourmands with a toffee base.
