Colour Me Oud is a men's fragrance from the British house Milton Lloyd that treats oud as a floral rather than a smoky wood. Everyone who describes it mentions flowers, about two thirds find it woody, and a third pick up spice, sweetness, musk and citrus.

Citrus notes and cardamom give a brisk, slightly spicy opening. Rose, jasmine and orange blossom form a full, sweet floral heart, with honey adding a thick, golden sweetness. Agarwood and tobacco bring a dark, dry warmth underneath, patchouli adds earth, and musk smooths the drydown so the richer notes do not feel heavy.

This is a warm, sweet oud for evenings and cooler weather, and for people who like the idea of oud but prefer it rounded with rose and honey. It is sold as masculine, though the floral emphasis gives it broader appeal.
