The opening is mandarin orange with basil and violet, a bright citrus given a green, herbal edge and a soft, slightly powdery floral touch. The heart is sage, cedar and elemi, dry herbs over clean wood with a peppery, lemony resin. The base of vetiver, nutmeg and leather is where the name comes in: a dry, earthy, faintly smoky vetiver, a warm dusting of spice, and a light, supple leather rather than a heavy one.
