It opens with Italian mandarin and saffron, a bright citrus against a dry, leathery spice. The heart is violet leaf, Chinese osmanthus and immortelle, which together give a green, metallic freshness, a soft apricot-and-suede floral tone and a warm, hay-like sweetness. The base is where it becomes distinctive: mineral notes and suede over akigalawood, cedar, patchouli and musk, dry, stony and smooth, like warm rock and soft leather.
