The opening is bold: cumin brings a warm, earthy, slightly sweaty spice, saffron a leathery, metallic edge, pepper a sharp bite and labdanum a sticky, resinous warmth. The heart softens it with a dark rose, as Bulgarian rose gives a deep, jammy floral richness, violet a powdery sweetness and Indonesian patchouli an earthy depth. The base is agarwood and oriental notes, a resinous, smoky, long-burning wood.
