Desert Suave

Desert Suave by Les Liquides Imaginaires is a warm, fruity floral released in 2018 and signed by Quentin Bisch and Nisrine Bouazzaoui Grillié. It is worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, and about half add spicy, woody and citrus, so the flowers come wrapped in spice and wood rather than standing alone.

The notes read like a market in the sun: mandarin orange for brightness, cardamom for a cool, green spice, and dates and sesame for a dense, nutty sweetness that gives the fragrance its character. Orange blossom and rose carry the floral side, honeyed and full, while cedar keeps the whole thing dry and anchored so it never turns syrupy.
