Nerosa

Nerosa by Laboratorio Olfattivo, created by David Maruitte in 2019, is a woody fragrance with spice, flowers, resin and leather each noticed by a fair share of people, and a smaller amber share.

Cloves, nutmeg and saffron give a warm, golden, slightly medicinal spice. Rose and geranium bring a dark, velvety, rosy-green floral heart, and ylang-ylang a creamy warmth. Elemi adds a fresh, peppery resin, and birch leaf a green edge. The base is dark and animalic: agarwood gives a dry, smoky oud, leather, birch and castoreum a warm, smoky hide, labdanum and benzoin a honeyed resin, and cedar, guaiac wood, sandalwood, vetiver and cypriol a rich, earthy wood.

Nerosa is shared and can be worn by anyone. As the name, black rose, suggests, it is a dark, brooding scent for autumn and winter evenings, and should appeal to people who like smoky, leathery rose-oud compositions.
