This John Varvatos fragrance from 2008, composed by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, is a fruity floral with a warm, honeyed base. Sweetness and florals lead equally, with light green, woody and citrus touches.

The opening is ripe and golden: mandarin orange gives a sunny citrus note, while Georgian apricot and Damask plum add a soft, velvety, jammy fruitiness. The heart is a lush bouquet of mango blossom, Egyptian jasmine, Turkish rose and lily, creamy and slightly exotic. The base is warm and slightly vintage in feel, with patchouli and oakmoss for an earthy, mossy depth, tonka bean for a soft sweetness and honey for a rich, golden glow.

Most wearers report moderate longevity, some long lasting, and a moderate sillage. Votes are split between autumn and spring, and it is worn more by day than at night. It suits office days, lunches and transitional weather, and anyone who likes fruity florals with a honey and moss warmth.
