Lemon and salt open it with a brief, bright, beachy sharpness. Then the sweetness arrives: coconut and coconut milk give a creamy, tropical richness, caramel a sticky, toasted sweetness, and cocoa and cacao pod a dark, slightly dry chocolate edge. Ylang-ylang adds a soft, banana-like floral note. Tahitian vanilla and beeswax form a smooth, honeyed base, with cedar, guaiac wood and sandalwood keeping it from becoming cloying, and amber adding warmth.
It suits summer evenings and holidays, but also cold winter days when something comforting is wanted. Anyone who likes coconut gourmands with woods and a salty edge should find it appealing.
