Guava Sorbet

Guava Sorbet by House of Brandt, composed by Kamila Lelakova in 2024 and worn by anyone, is a sweet, tropical citrus scent. Sweetness is what everyone picks up and most also describe it as citrusy; about half find it floral, and a quarter notice woody, musky and amber-like sides.

Guava is the centre, sweet, tropical and a little musky, with passionfruit adding a tangy brightness and grapefruit, mandarin orange and bergamot a juicy citrus sparkle. Sugar pushes the fruit towards sorbet. The floral side is osmanthus and jasmine, the osmanthus apricot-like and slightly leathery, the jasmine warm and rich, which gives the fruit some depth. The base is vanilla, sandalwood, amber and musk, creamy, warm and soft, so the sorbet melts into something smooth as it dries down.

It reads as a summer and daytime scent, cheerful and refreshing, suited to someone who likes fruity fragrances and wants guava rather than the usual pear or apple.
